My boys made pie in their cooking class today, they even made the crusts, and needless to say we are all stuffed full of deliciousness this evening.
S's Apple Pie was right up there with the best I have ever tasted.
C's Pumpkin Pie was also very good,
and it, um, definitely won the
award for surprise ingredients.
I know what happened.
No one told him to remove it
while he was focused on the process.
He's a very literal guy.
I'm glad it was paper and not plastic.
The flavor didn't seem 'hefty' to me at all.
